Trinity Street Players Presents...

All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 by Peter Rothstein
All is Calm relives a poignant moment in history when Allied and German forces laid down their arms to celebrate the Christmas holiday together in WW1. The dramatic, historical production presents traditional patriotic and holiday songs of 1914 from both sides of the Western front and is interspersed with text read from letters, journals, and interviews from the soldiers who lived it. This production is not glorifying war…it shows the power of peace!

A New Play Reading

jkjk (Jenny Larson-Quiñones and khattieQ) in partnership with the Trinity St Players invite you to a reading of the new script-in-progress...

Desperately Seeking Comfortable Shoes. Join us for a reading and stay to give us feedback. Your input makes our work better.

ABOUT THE SHOW: Desperately Seeking Comfortable Shoes is a love story with song told through the Queering of Viking mythology. Miya, a 30-something single mom, auditions for non-binary rocker Jonny’s band. Sparks fly between the two, but their flirting is interrupted by a robbery. Jonny’s bulldog Loretta Lynn and Miya’s comfortable Dansko clogs are stolen. The duo takes off on a wild chase across the city, trying to recover their precious belongings. Little do they know, Jonny’s roommate and bandmate Norena is weaving them into a love spell. This simple story of falling in love is wrapped up in questions of time, fate, and the supernatural. It is inspired by true Queer Norwegian histories and the story of Odinn’s quest for the mead of poetry. As in Odinn’s quest, we encounter twin robbers, angry giants, a little bit of magic, and a lot of love.
