10 years of theatre in Austin

For 10 years, Trinity Street Players has been presenting FREE theatre to Austin.

2015 Season

Our Town

Our Town by Thornton Wilder was directed by Manuel Zarate. Described by Edward Albee as “…the greatest American play ever written,” the story follows the small town of Grover’s Corners through three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.” Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die.

Heralding The Holidays

TSP’s second annual fundraiser cabaret featured songs from across the holiday spectrum. From New Year’s to Christmas and monthly favorites like June is Busting Out All Over, Heralding the Holidays featured songs from musical theatre spanning the spectrum of American holidays. With singers Ann Pittman, Leslie Hethcox, Taylor Moessinger, Megan Hudson, and Steve Williams, it was narrated by Amy Downing and featured a surprise performance by First Austin’s Jared Slack and TSP’s cast of Into the Woods.
